These works are made only with traditional light sensitive photo paper and the standard photochemistry of developer and fixer.
The dyes embedded within the paper are fully activated by having regular room lights on while working. The colors are not applied to the paper as with paint, but are expressed by irregular applications of chemistry at non standard temperatures and dilutions.

Normally working with color photo printing, one works in complete darkness and even slight variations in temperature or chemistry balance will cause problematic printing.
