Photograms here are concerned primarily with time, an element of all art types of practice but of a poignantly practical and philosophical focus in photography. Each of the marks here is made by exposing paper to a small, measured bit of time. Many discrete moments in time are recorded here on one single object: the photo paper.

The shapes are made from left over bits of cardboard, traditionally used to dodge or burn prints in the traditional darkroom.

The colors are made by adjusting filters in the enlarger which exist for the purposes of color correcting a negative. All these are made with light sensitive paper in a traditional darkroom with an enlarger and then run through a color processor.
